Getting Healthy and Active
The New You Team offers a range of activities, from Pool, to Yoga to circuit training, for any fitness ability in the local area. We also have opportunities to get involved in community initiatives like cleaning up local beaches or working on community gardens.

Connecting
Our community connectors will work with you to find opportunities for you and others to get involved with. A chance to meet new people, look at opportunities for your community and build on the assets within it. If you have a vision for your community, New You want to hear from you!

Families
We recognise the need to feel understood when you are supporting family members who are going through difficult times. We run support groups for families and loved ones where you can meet up with others experiencing similar issues. We offer 1-1 support from family coaches, and you can even be trained to become a family coach yourself.

Education and Employment
We provide advice, support and opportunities for employment, education, training, enterprise of volunteering. Whether you want to get into work or education, build your CV and interview skills or focus on personal development – we focus on positive change such as improving self-confidence, living a healthier lifestyle and managing emotions.

Volunteering
Volunteering not only enriches the lives of others, it can improve your physical and mental wellbeing and reduce loneliness. Volunteering provides people with new skills and confidence and aids community participation. Our volunteer roles are varied and all of our volunteers are rewarded for giving their time and positive contributions.
Our Time Credits can be used to reward any voluntary activity – the value is placed on the time contributed, not the activity. There is an extensive spend network across Lancashire to use your time credits for you and your family.

Peer Support Groups
Our Peer to Peer support groups are there to support you in looking at your own behaviours that will allow you to reach your life goals using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) principals. All of our support groups are held in a non-judgemental, friendly and confidential environment to support you in making changes to unhealthy or unwanted behaviours.
